Hi Sam – just wanted to say thank you for the lunch yesterday. It was so very good and the right amount. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the fooool salad.
We will be in contact in the future to do another lunch.
Thank you again ;)
Couldn't be better! The service was amazing for a deli! It was like being Ina restaurant. The food was awesome. They came out and checked on us when we were eating and even brought us a free dessert to try! Can't wait to go back and try other things.
Sam is the man! came across this hidden gem not too long ago and have been coming here at least once a week ever since. i have a storage unit two buildings down from Sams and was feeling hungry one day dropping something off. totally ignored the mediterranean cafe part of the sign and figured it was just your average deli. normally i have my favorite spots in RP/ Cotati that i go to when I'm feeling hungry but i figured whatever I'm right here ill just go get a basic BLT... was welcomed as soon as i walked into the door and instantly noticed the special of the day " falafel wrap" and thought that sounds super good. then i looked at the menu even though in my head that wrap was my choice, and then i saw they had a gyro wrap ( not lamb unfortunately, but beef gyros are still yummy, and on a secret menu they have a chicken gyro) so i got the beef gyro wrap, it was very good, the next week after that i got the falafel wrap. the week after that i discovered they had a breakfast burrito which is now my all time favorite and pretty much my go to whenever i come in ... loaded with everything ( ham, sausage, crispy bacon, hash browns, eggs, cheese, and make sure to order it spicy )
Such a great place! My first time there I was lucky it was a Tuesday, and I got to try the tri-tip sandwich which was magnificent. Today I was able to try the Meghan's special, and it was amazing as well with perfectly crunchy, crumbled bacon, fresh avocado, and lightly toasted bread. Perfect food, and perfect service. My new favorite sandwich shop :)
Most amazing Greek salad ever customized with chicken gyro and tzatziki.
Great personable owner in Sam, constantly chatting and joking with customers!
The cost value is more than good and the menu spans 2 full walls.
Great little find off the beaten path.
On a mission to find Middle Eastern and Mediterranean spots in our area, we found this gem. Tucked away in a commercial park, despite them being open for 11 YEARS you'd be forgiven for missing this place but it's well worth seeking out.
The gyro and Mediterranean burger special we ordered were huge, unique, made fresh and delicious. The rest of the menu looks equally impressive and there is a comprehensive selection of beverages from iced tea and water to craft beer and wine available.
We arrived 15 minutes before closing, but the owner, Sam (of course), was more than happy to accommodate and took the time to come and chat about our shared love of food, travel and hookah.
A lovely experience. Thank you, Sam. We will be back.
There's a reason the majority of the reviews here are 5 stars...
Off the beaten path, but WORTH the trip to find it!! The service was amazing. Very obviously this is a family run/owned business, and they much care about your experience. They have an array of many different options and dishes. I got the gyro platter...was AMAZING!!! My mom got the Falafel wrap and loved her's as well. Flavors are authentic and very fresh ingredients. They truly have something on the menu for everyone, meat lovers, health conscious, vegetarians, everyone.
The portions are HUGE!! We had lunch around Noon, and I was too full the rest of the day to eat!!! My mom ate half of hers, and was able to have the rest for dinner.
This place is truly a gem, and once you eat there once, you'll keep going back. As my mom and I sat there for lunch, we were honestly shocked by the amount of people that came in and out, and the vast majority were regulars. Just writing this review, I'm getting hungry and will probably be headed back in today.
